Child-Care with Found in Translation (FiT)
Thursday 6-9 PM and/or Saturday AM - Yawkey Ambulatory Center at Boston Medical Center

Rotaract is volunteering with FiT for the entire fall semester. FiT helps bilingual women overcome homelessness and poverty by capitalizing on their language skills to become professional medical interpreters. Through FiT's workforce development program, women earn a Medical Interpreting Certificate, develop job skills and financial literacy, and receive job placement assistance upon completing the training. During their classes, volunteers will help take care of students’ children. FiT is looking for volunteers who can make a monthly/biweekly commitment to childcare during Thursday classes (6-9 PM) and/or on an ad-hoc basis on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Contact Eric ( if you’re interested in volunteering with FiT this fall!

If you're a Boston Rotaract member, any
